Commedia Dell'Arte WorkshopsMembers of Water Theatre Company, along with guest instructors, conduct yearly workshops in Commedia Dell'Arte. Participants are given a short introduction to the stock characters, guided through the basics of the style, and more – in full costume and makeup.All levels of experience are welcome – we encourage both actors who have worked with us in the style and newcomers to attend. Those interested in observing the workshop are encouraged to attend as well: You can get a feel for the style as well as enjoy a highly entertaining afternoon. All participants and observers receive a printed booklet including information on the history of Commedia and the stock characters.
