When Half Gods Go
Continuing its commitment to original works and new authors, WATER staged a reading of the script "When Half Gods Go", written by company member Joe Roland, at the New Actors Workshop in November 2001.
Author's Notes:
Writing a screenplay is not as solitary an endeavor as you might imagine. That you are here at all has very little to do with me. Left to my own devices this screenplay would be stuck in its first incarnation rather than have evolved into its superior current one. It has had many incarnations. And it has had as many champions as it's had incarnations, who have all urged it to give up its limitations and seek a higher place. Through the offering of encouragement, advice, practical information and more patience than one man deserves, many people have helped me accomplish what I never could have on my own.
