Our CompanyWATER is a company of theatre artists devoted to developing unique and startling ensemble work for the stage: Fueled by the desire to keep theatre alive by constant reinvention, we develop new plays and nurture living playwrights, draw from literature and non-fiction for new sources of theatre material and seek new form and life for an occasional piece of traditional theatre material. Our rehearsal process is highly improvisational and we experiment with new types of improvisation for performance. We are interested in the political and social change that enlightening, artful theatre brings and so we dedicate ourselves to exploring and sharing the explosive, transforming power of that human endeavor, the creative process, with all its revelations. |
